Social

Activities

Monthly TGIFs: The first Friday of every month, friends and family are invited to join us for an evening of socializing and relaxation.  Each month we choose a different venue in the Philadelphia area.  Past TGIFs have included the Manayunk Brewery, Standard Tap, Arroyo Grill, Mace's Crossing, Trust, Kildare's, Black Sheep, Dark Horse, and Cube Libre.

Each year we hold an annual brunch in early March.

Other social events include Halloween activities such as hayrides and haunted house tours, sporting events, concerts, and wine tasting picnic events at local wineries.

Philanthropic Activities

Often combining our efforts with local collegiate chapters, our calendar is full of philanthropic activities.

We participate in a variety of walks throughout the year to raise funds for charities such as the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), AIDS Research, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Special Olympics, and the Debbie Romano Fund.

Sometimes combining philanthropic events with social activities, each year around the holiday season, we make cookies, have a potluck dinner, and spend time gift-bagging cookies to donate to St. Vincent's Orphanage.

Other charitable activities include Make a Difference Day, Fairmount Park Restoration Project, and Things for Wings to support NKF.

National and Regional Celebrations

Each year members participate in the Founders Day, Division Conference, and the Philadelphia Area Alumnae Panhellenic (PAAP) luncheons. Members help to organize the events, conduct workshops and seminars, and encourage collegiate women to participate in these national and regional events.
